GPRS Class 10 and Dual-Band radio are standard GSM/GPRS features that are offered by an extremely compact wireless module from Siemens – the MC39i.

Smaller than a business card, the MC39i is very slim, and is also economical when it comes to power consumption. In addition to voice, text message (SMS), and fax communication it is particularly suitable for data transfer purposes due to its high transmission rate.

The MC39i is designed to be very robust and compact, two factors that – along with its high-performance GPRS capability – make it the ideal candidate for integration into M2M applications in fields like security, telemetry, and telematics. It’s also well-suited for use in portable computers, smartphones, and GSM modems.

In order to cut down the time to market and cost for certification for your new product, the MC39i comes with full type approval (FTA) – like all Siemens modules.
